The Cloud and On-Premise Editions of Janusseal App for Outlook has been patched to version 3.24.1. This version includes:
- FIX: Version 3.24.0 was incorrectly asking senders to confirm the classification for replies/forwards even if the original message had a classification and the organization's configuration was set not to require a confirmation. This issue has been fixed in 3.24.1.
- FIX: If an organization's configuration had the new attachment inspection feature enabled, and all the attachment(s) of the message had file extension(s) for which the classification could not be determined, then Janusseal App would hang at the send event and the message could not be sent. This issue has been fixed in 3.24.1.
- FIX: If an organization's configuration had the new attachment inspection feature enabled and the message had PDF attachment(s), for some PDFs the classification was not determined even though they had been classified with Janusseal Documents. The same issue meant the classification of .WAV files was not determined. This issue has been fixed in 3.24.1.
Janusseal App for Outlook is the Office web add-in from Janusnet for enhancing Outlook (Windows, Mac and online/web version) with security classification capability; it is not Janusseal for Outlook which is the Office COM add-in for enhancing the Windows version of Outlook with such capability.
This issue has been fixed in 3.24.1.
