Functional enhancements to Janusseal App for Outlook in version 3.7.0

Janusseal App for Outlook version 3.7.0 has been released, both the On-Premise edition and the Cloud edition. This release includes the functional improvements:

  • Organisations can control the reply behaviour in Janusseal App for Outlook when an end-user replies or forwards a message. This means the classification of the original message can be ignored or otherwise when attempting to classify the new message. If the classification of the original is not ignored then there is also the ability to control the classification downgrade choices - the end-user can downgrade the classification with no warning, downgrade the classification with a warning, or not allow downgrade at all.
  • Janusseal App for Outlook can now be configured to only apply subject line markings/labels to specific security classifications - granular subject line markings. If a security classification is configured not to have subject line markings/labels applied for it then the message is sent with no markings/labels in the message.
  • The Microsoft Office.js javascript library has been updated from version 1.1.0.12 to 1.1.0.13; the latter was released 11th December 2017.

Customers using the Cloud edition do not have to perform an upgrade - the code has been updated on your behalf, however, to take advantage of these new features your configuration would have to be updated. If you wish to use these new features then contact  Janusnet.
